About Julia Romanova

"Inspired by a love of art and my two children, Erik and Carolina, I started life casting two years ago. My small Sculpture Studio is based at my home in Thatcham near Newbury in Berkshire. I specialise in reproducing beautiful copies of baby hands and feet, also pet paws, family sculptures, busts, and newlywed couples. I work in bronze, silver, copper resin and real marble.

Art has always been a big passion of mine, I studied art at university and after graduating I never lost the desire to be able to produce my own. Life casting is a very satisfying way of expressing myself; I take great pleasure from seeing my client’s faces when they see their treasured keepsake for the first time.

My children grew up so quickly but I consider myself lucky to have been able to capture in bronze some of their features at precious moments in their lives.

It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to reflect back to when they were small just by the touch of a sculpture to remind me of a special time. I hope to provide you with that same feeling when you decide to have your own personal casting done."
